NVD is the U.S. Government repository of standards based vulnerability management data represented using the Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP). This data enables automation of vulnerability management, security measurement, and compliance. NVD includes databases of security checklists, security related software flaws, misconfigurations, product names, and impact metrics.

  • Removed the ModifyHelpTopicFilenames build step as API topic filenaming is now handled entirely by the new AddFilenames.xsl transformation in Sandcastle. Ifyou have plug-ins that rely on the removed build step, they will need to be updated.

    Setup

  • Renamed the CopyStandardContent build step toCopyStandardHelpContent and moved it to run after the ExtractingHtmlInfobuild step. This allows for standard content (presentation style images, scripts, style sheets, etc.) to bedefined in the presentation style definition files and allows templates within those content files to havesubstitution tags replaced properly. This should only affect plug-ins that used theCopyStandardContent build step as an execution point. Update them to use the new buildstep and make other adjustments if the plug-ins or build components expect the content to be there earlier in thebuild.

  • The presentation style definition file has been updated to include an entry to copy the websitecontent files from the help file builder. If you have created custom presentation style files and generatewebsite output, update your definition files accordingly. This allows for presentation styles to containmodified versions of the default help file builder website files or they can completely replace them withsomething else.

The following changes were made to support the latest Sandcastle release:

  • Removed BuildReflectionData.bat as the script is now part of theSandcastle file set.

  • Removed the SandcastleMRefBuilder project and assembly. The assemblybinding redirection code has been moved into Sandcastle's AssemblyResolver class inMRefBuilder. The Assembly Binding Redirection plug-in has been updated to use theSandcastle version now.

    Short answer = no - editing is an added feature & not what these converters are designed for. Lilien,'Does this Software support cut/trim without complete reencoding (smart rendering)?' Cut editing is easier technically speaking, since cuts & joins are only performed at key frames, and while it's probably possible using the ffmpeg these converters are based on, it's difficult & iffy, using scripts written for the specific task.   • Removed the JavaScriptDeclarationSyntaxGenerator from the project andchanged all references to use the new version in the Sandcastle SyntaxComponents assembly.

  • Removed ResolveConceptualLinksComponent from the project and changedall references to use the new version in the Sandcastle BuildComponents assembly as thechanges have been merged into it.

  • Removed FixScriptSharp.xsl from the project templates. The changes itcontained have been merged into Sandcastle's copy of that file.

  • A BuildAssemberVerbosity property was added to let you specify whatmessages the BuildAssembler tool will report. This can help to significantly reducethe build log size for large projects.

  • Updated the CodeColorizerLibrary and SandcastleComponentsprojects to .NET 4.0 as the Sandcastle tools are now built with .NET 4.0.
